Following eyelid surgery, when can I go back to work?

Eyelid surgery, under the present scheme of things, is a relatively simpler surgery compared to various other types of surgeries done on the face. Most patients are able to go back to work within a week to ten days. This also depends on the sensitivity of the patient because if they go back early, their bruises may be visible to their co-workers. Therefore, if patients do not want anyone to notice such bruises or other markings, they may have to stay away from the workplace for up to two weeks. But the general rule of thumb is that within a week to ten days the patient should look pretty good, and the stitches are removed quite early; within about three to five days.
