In this article, Dr. Kwan, along with co-authors Albert Truong, MD, and Justin Park, BS, shares 30 years of his experience in performing implant rhinoplasty between February 1995 and October 2024. Specifically looking at the use of I-shaped silicone implants for dorsal augmentation, this study demonstrates that using the right techniques can minimize complications. The study indicates that silicone implant augmentation rhinoplasty is a safe procedure that offers multiple benefits, especially for ethnic populations.
